Let’s Try and Track This Question in the Bible.
From Genesis to The Revelation there is thread that traces the struggle between good and evil. Yes, man had fallen out of the Presence of God, but God never gave up on Man.
We see the centre of this thread if we trace the genealogy of Mary and Joesph as recorded in Gospel of Luke. Luke 3: 23-38, where Luke traces the line of family tree back to Adam. Matthew relates this line from Abraham to Mary and Joesph, Matthew 1:16. There are several reasons these linage of Jesus is different, but I will not get into this here.
The point of the matter is that it must have been very important that an accurate genealogy was recorded over so many years. To put it simply God, placed an emphasis on those who trusted Him and accepted their faithfulness even though their lives had flaws. Why you think this was so important?
While ever there was a witness to the Faithfulness of God being demonstrated in the earth this was a sign to the forces of evil that God was still in control. This faithfulness of these patriarchs displayed to the people all around that God honours and protects the ones that place their trust in Him. Around this thread of people being faithful showed the world that the battle between Good and evil was an ongoing theatre.
Let’s open this up a little further.
As these faithful people where speaking out about the Faithfulness of God, they were exercising their God given role of Dominion. We know this because the early history was verbally transmitted. This role was given Adam and was carried on in these faithful followers. As each generation taught the next generation and so on. We see the revelation of God’s Plan was declared in the earth.
As these declarations of faith and confidence in the God of Creation were being piled up we see the ultimate Revelation, Jesus appears. All was laid out for Him to walk into that Revelation and bring it into its fullness. The Scriptures states in, Matthew 1:22; “All this happened in order to fulfill what ADONAI [GOD] had said through the prophet”, as well as many other places.
Now I know that all this may be a lot to process but I ask you just to take the time to read back through this and see if my presentation has value.
The concept that it is necessary a man to give God access into the earth is probably new to most and I understand this. It has taken me many years to come to my understanding of this. When you consider that God had all this planned out from the beginning does take some processing.
If you go back to an early Post, I stated that Man, Adam was given Authority, Dominion to look after the Earth. You must come to the conclusion that God intended it to a partnership between Man and God for this Plan to be executed.
I want to expand on this thought, but it will in the next Post.
