Living Out Of A Place Of Rest
Why am I repeating this here? -- Beacuse it is so important.
In your 'old life' your will was the dominant part of your being. It only had your senses to guide it in any decision you made.
Now you are having to retrain your mind to the nature of Christ so your will has to take second place so to speak.
When we rest, we 'rest in Christ'. This means that we allow the Nature of Christ to come to forefront of our thoughts and allow our decision to be guided by that Nature.
This 'Resting' is assisted by us filling our minds with scripture that speak about how we are complete in Christ. As we focus on the Nature of Christ that has become out nature it takes the effort out of making decisions.
Just imagine not having to worry about if our decisions were correct or misplaced. This trusting in the finshed work of Christ being part of our nature allows us to relax and allow His nature to come to the front.
What a wittness to those around us that we are able to make great decisions which have a profond effect without stressing.
This is of course takes time to become our every action but if we see it as a goal and take the steps to arrive at that place we will get there.
Let your Rest be seen as you strive to allow the Nature of Christ become visible.
