What Is Going Wrong That Everything Seems To Be A Mess?
When we look at the way things are happening all around us at this time {2023 - Edited 2025}, it make you wonder what is going on.
{Even at this time in 2025 the situation has not changes that much. In the US this can be seen in a greater measure. There is a new administration that is working at bring some change that appears to have 'common sense' to it there is still a lot of drama.}
How is it that there is so much anger, hate, trauma, and just so much fear going on? Even the weather seem to be out of control. What happened to the normal life that we had in the "good old days"?
The simple answer is when you allow anyone to make decisions based on what they feel is right there is likely someone else that might disagree.
If you decide that anyone has the right to do what they feel is OK, and don't set rules of guidelines there will be problems.
So, the next question is who will set the Rule of behaviour?
In many countries we elect Men and Women into a place authority to make Laws that govern the behaviour of its people so that there is a level of common good for all.
The basis for these rules - Laws - has traditionaly had its founding from Judea-Christian teaching. The belief that the rules which govern the people should be made outside of Man's conrol so that bias is elimated. The general consensus being that a Supreme Being, the God of the Bible, has our best interests at heart and has set out a pattern behaviour that is fair and good for all.
So, the issue comes down to do you believe this is the best way to bring peace?
My contention is that many in our society have given up on believing that Bible Principles are valid and have set about to change the "Rules". This action has lead to the idea that there are no absolutes so what ever feels good 'do it'.
The idea that freedom is doing what ever you want is not true freedom. This is because "Doing what I want" can overstep someone else's freedom. The true meaning of Freedom is deciding to stay within certain boundies. Who decides these bountries becomes the "Burning Issue".
I ask you to just leave your own personal view aside for a moment. Let me set out a case that I ask you to consider carefully.
What would you suggest is the "corner stone" of of our society? - I suggest The Family.
This being the case let's look at what that means. Again this what I feel is the answer, you may have a different concept, I accect that. But for now let's just continue with what I suggest.
So, we have a Man and his Wife, they have a child. In a basic Famly this is the picture. The Husband and his Wife create a safe place for this child because it is defenceless and needs shelter it from the hashness that the world can deliver.
The decisions that a man and his wife make together either sheild or expose that child to what hasness the world might inflict on them. In the best situation the Dad and Mum will make the decisions that sheild that child from having to make a serisous decision of its own to protect it self.
This is what I believe God Our Hevenly Father had in mind when He created the Family in the first place. He was so desirious to have a Family that would reflect His Nature that he so designed this beautiful setting.
OK, I hear you saying, "What has this to do with the Turmoil and Trouble we see in the world today?"
Every action we see happening around us is the direct result of someone's decision. It depends on what that decision is based whether that action is helpful or hurtful.
So, it is important to know that when any person who is making a decision are they making that decision from a position of defensivness or from a position of self-control.
Let me suggest this is at the heart of of all the turmoil and trouble we see in the world today. Is it that simple? I suggest it is.
